Couples looking for a cozy retreat

We were greeted with such warmth from Deb, she treated us like family. The breakfast? Absolutely top-notch, a full English that put other places to shame.

It wasn't exactly low-cost but you know what? Worth every penny.

    internet issues

Milton Farm features enchanting decor with soft, calming colours, antique furniture, and a delightful communal space where I enjoyed a cozy breakfast beside the fire. The ambiance was peaceful, making it easily accessible for a relaxing stay.

Wi-Fi connection was a bit unreliable at times.

    Very good
    7.0

The twin room I booked felt cramped, barely fitting two cast iron beds and a tiny table. With no space for bags or a chair, it became an annoyance, especially since the windows came with a few unwanted flies and the shower over the bath proved tricky for getting in and out of. while the feather duvet offered comfort, it was a bit too hot on the first night. even though the temperature dropped the next night, some might prefer lightweight bedding regardless. Lastly, the area has limited phone signal, which may require a short trek up the hill to get a decent connection.

Cozy escape with a warm vibe

This place was so chill and comfy! Large room and a private bath, which was a sweet setup. Deb was so welcoming, and the breakfast spread was epic—full English, fruits, the works! It’s kinda out there, so super quiet at night, but you’ll wanna drive a bit for decent food options.

    cozy sitting area

The Deluxe Double Room was super comfy! Big bed, lovely decor with calming colors, and a nice bathroom. There were lots of tea, coffee, and biscuits. Plus, the sitting area downstairs was cozy and inviting with a huge sofa. Really nice touch waking up to such a peaceful atmosphere and having breakfast by the fire! Such a chill vibe overall.

    legendary breakfast
    homemade muffins
    peaceful stroll
    dodgy internet
    cramped room

The breakfast at Milton Farm was a feast for the senses, featuring a legendary bacon sandwich and delightful homemade muffins that could charm the socks off anyone! It's also a fab spot for a peaceful evening stroll to the nearby Fox and Hounds for crab risotto and fishcakes that are to die for.

The internet connection was a bit dodgy, but I made the most of it by diving into the lovely magazines around. The room setup was snug, with limited space for bags, which felt a tad cramped.
